Brigadier Pravin Shinde (Retd.) is a former Indian Army officer with over 34 years of distinguished service, including combat experience in Jammu & Kashmir and leadership in high-stakes operations. A third-generation officer from the Maratha Light Infantry, he is a recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) awarded by the President of India on Republic Day 2020, along with multiple bravery awards. Post-retirement, he held senior security leadership roles with the State Bank of India (SBI), focusing on enterprise security, cyber risk, and AI-driven risk management. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Univastu India Ltd, where he leads operations and strategic execution, bringing military-grade discipline, governance expertise, and technology-led operational excellence to the organization.
