Chief Operating Officer

Brigadier Pravin Shinde (Retd.) is a former Indian Army officer with over 34 years of distinguished service. A third-generation officer from the Maratha Light Infantry, he is a recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) awarded by the President of India. Post-retirement, he held senior security leadership roles with the State Bank of India (SBI), focusing on enterprise security, cyber risk, and AI-driven risk management. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Univastu India Ltd, where he leads operations and strategic execution, bringing military-grade discipline, governance expertise, and technology-led operational excellence to the organization.

Post-retirement, he held senior security leadership roles with the State Bank of India (SBI), focusing on enterprise security, cyber risk, and AI-driven risk management. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Univastu India Ltd, where he leads operations and strategic execution, bringing military-grade discipline, governance expertise, and technology-led operational excellence to the organization.

Mr. Rajiv Kapoor

Mr. Rajiv Kapoor has over 17+ years of business leadership and executive management experience in established and early-stage multi-national companies in Software, Information Technology & Networking sectors. Dynamic career that reflects year-on-year successes in achieving business growth objectives, launching multiple product/service initiatives within diverse and new markets, building strong partner networks, and developing stellar teams across India, SAARC, ME. Highly skilled in P & L management, pricing strategies, competitor & market analysis, negotiation, staffing, and reorganization.

Mr. Rajiv Kapoor has done the ‘Post Graduate Diploma in International Management’ from International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi.

Having 38 years of working experience in designing and execution of various architectural project viz. sports structures, Institutional Buildings & Campus, Auditoriums, Healthcare Projects, Industrial Structures and Housing etc.

He holds B. Architect degree from Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai and member of Council of Architecture & AIIA India. Having 38 years of working experience in designing and execution of various architectural project viz. sports structures, Institutional Buildings & Campus, Auditoriums, Healthcare Projects, Industrial Structures and Housing etc.

Pamarthi Venkata Vidyasagar

Vice President- Contracts

He Holds degree in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Management Studies with more than 38 years of vast experience. He is retired as an Executive Engineer from CIDCO in August 2017 where he has served for 32 years. He Engineering Contracts is been his forte and looking after the same in the UNIVASTU since 2019.

Rajesh Khodade

General Manager Projects

He holds the Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Over 17 years of experience in construction field, he has joined the company in the 2015, and he currently holds the position General Manager Projects. His areas of expertise include Project planning, Project management, Execution, and Quality Management.

Before joining the UNIVASTU, he has worked with Leading Real Estate Company, Kalpataru Group for 15 years as a Project Manager on different Prestigious Projects. His Commitment, Dedicated Work and Ambitious Plans are a boon to UNIVASTU, which is set to soar high with the existing opportunities.

Rajesh Khodade

He has experience of 19 years in the construction field. His areas of works are Tendering and Contracts, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Administration Functions of the company and have developed forward looking business strategies for the organisation.

While earning a prestigious position in company, General Manager at a very young age, he had come a long way with company. He spearheaded the growth of UNIVASTU since early start with operations across. He has been playing an active role in company’s growth and expansion.

With qualities of leadership running through his veins, the conviction to do things differently and will to his hard work bear fruit, he has successfully nurtured the business.

Prashant Akashe

General Manager

Mr. Dhananjay Barve is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, having an extensive experience of over 40 years in the field of Direct Taxation. He is also a Law Graduate from Pune University. He appears before Income Tax Appellate Authorities as a Counsel as well as Management Consultant for various kinds of industries/set ups. He has expertise in field of Consulting & has advised many enterprises in taxation & transaction structuring.

He has been an Independent Director of UNIVASTU since 14.11.2019.

Major General (Dr.) Vijay P. Pawar, AVSM, VSM

He has served in the Army for 37 + 4 years (training period), in the ranks of 2/Lt to Major General. He has served all over the Country and Abroad. He took part in 1971 Operation against the Pakistanis, served in the states of Jand K, Punjab, East part of theCountry and as Chief Engineer with Air Force.

During his service he held important appointments of BM as Infantry Brigade GSO1 in AHQ, Colonel Administration of an Infantry Division, Commander as Engineer Brigade, Chief Engineer, Eastern Air Command, Commandant MEG and Centre, ADG Personnel in E and C Branch, Director General Military Police and Major General Administration in Northern Command Headquarters. He retired from Active Military Service in Sep 2004.

He has been an Independent Director of UNIVASTU since 01.04.2017.

He is associated with Military Schools at Raigad and Satara as a member in their Academic Council. He is a Member of Services Preparatory Institute Aurangabad, which is an Institution of the Government of Maharashtra. He is a trustee of Queen Mary’s Technical Institute for differently abled soldiers. He had received prestigious AtiVishishtSeva Medal and VishishtSeva Medal in his army career.

Non Executive Director

She has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Pune University. She is associated with UNIVASTU since inception. She has been on the Board of our Company since 10.02.2015 and has been appointed as an Executive Director of our company through resolution dated 01.04.2017.

She has been instrumental in supporting the overall administration of the Company. She brings on board her Unique Vision, Management Practices, with her specialized knowledge of Administration in the company.

With having rich years of experience in management and administration of company she ensures the smooth functioning of the company. She has been a great support system to the company.

Mrs. Rajashri P. Khandagale

Non Executive Director

She has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Pune University. She is associated with UNIVASTU since inception. She has been on the Board of our Company since 10.02.2015 and has been appointed as an Executive Director of our company through resolution dated 01.04.2017.

Narendra Bhagatkar

Mr. Narendra Bhagatkar, aged 61; has done Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management and Project Management from Delhi Productivity Council, Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights from Indian Institute of Human Rights, MBA Finance from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Master of Laws (LL.M) from Pune University.

He has over 35 years of rich experience in Military Engineer Services as Chief Engineer Arbitrator. He retired as an Additional Director General (Arbitration) from Military Engineer Services.

He was appointed as an Independent Director of UNIVASTU on 01.06.2020 and later appointed as a Whole time Director designated as “Executive Director” of UNIVASTU w.e.f 01.07.2020.

He is also a Fellow of Institution of Valuer, Member of Institution of Engineers, Member of Institution of Surveyors, Member of Indian Council of Arbitration, Member of Indian Road Congress and Member of Indian Building Congress.

His technical, strategic, decision making and leadership skills coupled with his sound financial business sense has helped him in expanding the horizons of the company. His extensive Construction knowledge, passion and work ethics set the path towards Vision and Mission of the Company.
