    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to manage and execute metro rail infrastructure projects, including stations, viaducts, tunnels, and associated civil works. The role involves end-to-end site execution, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring quality, safety, and timely project delivery.

    Qualifications:

    A B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or an M.Tech in Structural / Construction Management is an advantage.

    Industry Exposure: Metro Rail (DMRC / MMRC / NMRC / Rapid Rail), EPC Civil Infrastructure, Government Projects.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Technical Expertise in Metro Construction: Strong knowledge of metro rail construction methods, including cut-and-cover, NATM tunneling, elevated viaducts, and station box construction.

    Project Planning & Software Proficiency: Skilled in project scheduling tools like Primavera P6 / MS Project, along with working knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D for drawings and mark-ups.

    Standards, Quality & Compliance: Well-versed in IS codes, CPWD specifications, metro guidelines, and experienced in quality documentation such as ITPs, NCRs, checklists, and audit reports.

    Analytical & Coordination Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with effective communication and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams to manage site challenges.

    Work Efficiency & Safety Focus: Capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure, meeting deadlines, and ensuring strict adherence to EHS regulations and zero-harm safety culture.

    Responsibilities:

    Execution & Site Management: Independently manage execution of metro civil works (stations, viaducts, tunnels, ancillary works) and supervise daily site activities, subcontractors, and labour to ensure progress as per approved drawings and schedules.

    Planning, Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare and track work programs, monitor project milestones, identify deviations, and report progress with corrective actions to the project manager.

    Technical Review & Coordination: Review structural and GFC drawings, raise RFIs for discrepancies, and coordinate with MEP, Architectural, and Systems teams (OHE, Signalling, and AFC) for seamless site execution.

    Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to QC/QA standards, inspection procedures, and method statements; conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks; and enforce EHS/OHSAS and metro safety regulations.

    Documentation, Billing & Team Support: Maintain site records, verify measurements and BOQs for billing, assist in procurement and tendering activities, and mentor junior engineers and supervisors.
