    Job Description:

    The Project Engineer is responsible for leading the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of metro station construction and civil infrastructure projects. The role ensures adherence to approved designs, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines while maintaining effective coordination with stakeholders. The position focuses on achieving timely project completion, optimizing resources, and ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and technical requirements.

    Qualifications:

    B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering; MTech / PG in Structural / Construction Management preferred.

    Industry Exposure: Metro Rail / DMRC / MMRC / Rapid Rail / EPC Infrastructure / Government Projects.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Technical Expertise in Metro & Infrastructure: In-depth knowledge of metro rail construction, including elevated viaducts, underground tunneling, and station construction methodologies.

    Project Management & Software Skills: Proficient in Primavera P6 / MS Project, along with working knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D and MS Office tools for planning and reporting.

    Engineering & Documentation Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural drawings, BOQs, method statements, technical specifications, and quality management systems (QMS) with IS codes and metro standards.

    Project Execution & Contract Handling: Experience in EPC/turnkey projects, including tendering processes, rate analysis, and contract management with multi-disciplinary teams.

    Leadership & Performance Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to manage multiple work fronts efficiently under tight deadlines.

    Responsibilities:

    Project Leadership & Execution: Lead end-to-end execution of metro station and civil infrastructure projects, ensuring all structural, civil, and finishing works are completed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

    Planning, Scheduling & Resource Management: Prepare and monitor project schedules (CPM/Primavera), manage manpower, materials, and equipment, and implement corrective actions to address delays.

    Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance: Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, PMC, and government authorities for smooth execution, approvals, and compliance with metro, CPWD/IRC, and IS standards.

    Quality, Safety & Site Control: Supervise subcontractors and site teams, conduct inspections and audits, enforce safety regulations, and ensure adherence to quality control procedures.

    Billing, Risk Management & Team Development: Verify measurements, bills, and variations; identify project risks with mitigation strategies, and mentor junior engineers and supervisors for performance improvement.
