    Job Description:

    The Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing and managing project billing, quantity verification, and measurement records for construction projects. The role ensures accurate preparation of client and subcontractor bills, proper documentation, and alignment with project contracts and BOQ. The position works closely with site engineers and project teams to support project execution, financial tracking, and timely billing submissions.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma).

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and contract conditions.

    Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software.

    Good understanding of measurement sheets and project documentation.

    Strong analytical and communication skills.

    Experience working on government or large-scale infrastructure projects.

    Familiarity with ERP systems.

    Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    Responsibilities:

    Preparation and verification of client RA (Running Account) bills as per contract terms.

    Preparation and certification of subcontractor/vendor bills.

    Quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.

    Coordination with site engineers for measurement records and work progress.

    Maintaining billing records and supporting documentation.

    Reconciliation of quantities with BOQ (Bill of Quantities).

    Preparation of variation and extra item statements.

    Tracking project progress for billing milestones.
